A sculptural tote bag designed to support city life and carry a computer. Formed of waves, folds, and rounded edges, the bag can take on two shapes. The first is a basket, its sides open, its straps on the outside. The second is a floral, closed bag, its sides tucked in, its straps crossing on the inside. Its pair of straps allow it to be carried in the hand or worn on the shoulder. Its name was inspired by the French word “cime”, meaning a peak or mountain crest, in reference to the ridge running along it.

Certified textured Italian calf leather. 100% velvet microfiber lining. Sourced from certified tanneries in Europe, Polène leather requires little maintenance. To prolong its life, avoid prolonged exposure to light and heat, and keep away from water, greasy substances, perfumes, and cosmetic products. Take care with dark or new clothes, as the dye may bleed. If the bag gets wet, dab it gently with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry. You do not need to apply any cream. Do not overfill the bag. Made by leather-working artisans in Spain. The body of the bag is reinforced with machine stitching down its middle. Its straps are held in place by hand-sewn stitches.
Each bag is packaged in the workshop. They are placed inside a protective cotton bag in a paper box made of recycled leather offcuts, which reflects Polène’s commitment to upcycling.
